WHO WE ARE
The Mississippi State WMA is a comprised of women authorized by local Baptist churches on the local, district and state levels who are banded together to encourage each other in their Christian growth and to aid in the ministries of their church and associations through personal ministry and youth auxiliaries.
Motivated by our love for the Lord, we are dedicated to sharing the message of Christ in all that we do. Our desire is to teach the ladies of our BMA churches about the joy and fulfillment of serving the Lord through our focus on missions, Bible study, evangelism, benevolence, youth auxiliaries, and Christian education.
If all the ladies of our BMA churches caught the vision of working together through our WMA program, all of our BMA missionaries would be completely funded and able to focus on their task of telling people about Christ. Not only would the ladies of the WMA see how God works for the missionaries, but they would see how God would work in their churches. You cannot out give God. Malachi 3:10
The WMA of Mississippi is excited to partner with Southeastern Baptist College on a special renovation project at The Haven House. This home is being remodeled to provide dorm-style housing for young men called to preach as they pursue their education and ministry training at SBC. We are grateful for the opportunity to help create a place where these students can live, study, fellowship, and grow in their walk with the Lord as they prepare to serve Him in ministry.
